Se podría decir que soy más la persona detrás del escenario que hace toda la magia. Aunque este trabajo iba a ser un desafío, sabía que podía ayudar de alguna manera y no iba a dejar que me asustara.
Después de 4 años trabajando con tan buenos alumnos, estoy feliz por la decisión que tomé. No solo he ayudado a mis alumnos a lograr sus objetivos, sino que me han empujado a aprender enseñándoles. Si aún no me conoces, cuando lo hagas, querrás quedarte. ¡Sé que puedo ayudar a mejorar tu vida de una forma u otra!
Nací aquí, así que tuve que aprender español a través de mi familia y amigos. Mi madre es de Guatemala, mi padre de Honduras, mi esposo de El Salvador y mi pastor de República Dominicana. Crecer fue un desafío, porque mientras intentaba practicar español, la gente (incluidos amigos y familiares) se burlaban de mí. Tal vez pensaron que no era gran cosa, pero para mí lo fue. When I noticed they would rather make fun of me than to help me speak correctly, I stop speaking Spanish altogether. It wasn't until years laters when I met my husband that I was forced to learn Spanish AGAIN, because his family ONLY spoke in Spanish. Did they make fun of me? Yes, because honestly I did speak funny! But you know what? As time past and as I continued to not give up learning how to speak better, people took me more seriously and actually assisted me in my grammar to help me. Now, I laugh WITH them and it feels so much better!
So why this website? Well, in 2018, my friend ask if I could assist in teaching English as a second language to adults. I was hesitant, not only because I felt I wasn't the right person for the job, but because I am not use to being in front of crowds. You could say, that I am more the backstage person doing all the magic. Although this job was going to be challenging, I knew that I could help in some way and I wasn't going to let myself be scared out of it.
After 4 years working with such great students, I am happy of the decision I made. I have not only helped my students achieve their goals, but they have pushed me to learn by teaching them. If you don't know me yet, when you do, you might want to stick around. I know that I can help improve your life one way or another!
I was born here so I had to learn Spanish through my family and friends. My mother is from Guatemala, my father from Honduras, my husband from El Salvador and my paster from Dominican Republic. Growing up, was challenging, because as I tried to practice Spanish, people (including friends and family) would make fun of me. Perhaps they thought it wasn't a big deal, but to me it was. Trying to communicate in another language that I wasn't use to, made it hard for me to build relationships with them.

Since 2014, I have taught more than 300+ students from all over the world about branding, business and design. Even adults have joined my classes. As a bilingual teacher, I have taught English to at least 240+ Adult students with different backgrounds and levels, but still beginners in learning a second language. Some of them are even returning students which I have grown to know them better, and others, have moved on to an intermediate level. These are live in-person classes located in Woodbridge, VA.

I would ask friends and family to help rewrite my articles, but I want to share my authentic side. You may find LOTS of errors, but with a bilingual website, I know you'll understand me and anyways, as I notice my errors, I will grow and make the necessary corrections. Just like you should too.
